How to Use WoodUbend Mouldings
WoodUbend mouldings are beautifully detailed decorative elements that become flexible when heated, making them perfect for furniture flips, mixed media art, home décor, and creative restoration projects.
What You’ll Need
- WoodUbend mouldings
- Heat gun or hair dryer
- Wood glue or strong adhesive
- Your project surface
- Scissors or craft knife (optional)
- Paint or wax for finishing
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Heat the Moulding
Use a heat gun or hair dryer to warm the moulding evenly.
As it heats, the moulding will become flexible and bendable.
2. Shape & Position
Once soft, gently shape the moulding to fit your furniture or project surface.
This works especially well on curved surfaces like drawers, frames, and cabinets.
3. Apply Adhesive
Apply wood glue or a strong adhesive to the back of the moulding.
Press firmly onto the surface.
4. Secure While Cooling
Hold in place for a few moments while the moulding cools and hardens.
You can use painter’s tape temporarily if needed.
5. Finish Your Design
Once attached and fully dry, paint, stain, wax, or decorate your moulding however you’d like.
